Large Upstairs Furnished Bedroom Available in 4 Bed House

Hey there, I have a four bedroom home in Highland Park that will be coming available on August 1,
Our home offers one Light filled and large upstairs bedroom. If you value creativity, this could be your ideal temporary sanctuary.

Location...
Highlights:
- Prime Highland Park: Just a block away from the lively York Ave., 1.5 miles from Oxy, and under five miles to Art Center, 15 minutes to DTLA, and close to both 110 and 134 frwy for getting to South Bay 110 or Calabasas off 134.

- Walk Everywhere: You're a 20 minute walk to trendy spots on Figueroa or York Blvd, whether you're heading down the block to MONDU Coffee, NELA or Mala Class for a bite, super accessible but yet it feels protected by the hills in this area.

The House:
- Four-Bedroom, Three-Bathroom Home: Spacious living room, fully stocked kitchen, cozy dining area, laundry room with in-house washer and dryer, and a guest bathroom all downstairs. My personal room+ bathroom is downstairs.

- Outdoor Living: Relax on the front porch lined with blooming Jacaranda trees, or enjoy the grassy yard with bustling apple tree + avocado tree that is in abundance. I have been bartering with my community here for eggs and lemons. There is a fire pit, lounging area, and hammock. The backyard features a teak dining table for six, a BBQ, and a gazebo-covered lounge area with a chiminea. I do have my Woman's Yurt set for gatherings that I hold in the back yard at the change of seasons and some DYI fun like red drum making, dream Cather creations to name a couple.

Parking: Parking on the street is pretty easy, and there could potentially be room for another car to park on the third tier where the parking lot is met by back alley.

The Room:
- Bedroom Avail Furnished
- This is the largest room in the house, recently updated with modern chic boho vibes. Filled with afternoon light, and at this time of year you can see the moon crossing at night. It features a large walk-in closet, portable air conditioning unit, new ceiling fan, plush orthopedic bed w/ wooden spindle frame, decent sized dresser, desk, full-length mirror, and mounted TV with some subscriptions.

- Shared Bathroom: The bathroom will be shared with another young female and includes a full bath/shower. Cleaning is your responsibility unless you arrange for housekeeping services. Towels, sheets, pillows, and blankets are available for your use.

About Us:
I’m a creative professional working as a postpartum doula, and energy worker.
We’re a mix of Bohemian, laid-back, entrepreneurial spirits, who love the comfort and warmth of this home, and happy to share it with you. This is 420-friendly household, with outdoor spots designated for smoking only.
You could say I am like a den mother… lol ( NOT REALLY) but I am a safe space, known by many as Earthy Virgo ♍️, inclusive and welcoming, but also love my space and quiet!! I have made this house a home in the time I have lived here.

August.1 I will be renting the smallest room to 20 year old ceramic teacher/student who works goes to school out of the house.

My small, mellow dogs live here full-time. Both are potty-trained, low to no shedding, and calm and stay downstairs, along with myself.

I host Women’s Moon Circles in my Womb Yurt in the backyard , and do some fun crafting events( natural dying, dream catcher making, red drum making to name a few).

The third room upstairs is my healing studio/ guest room where I offer therapy 3 times per week 11-6 pm, otherwise it is occupied part time by young responsible 20 year old male ( my son) who uses the downstairs bathroom for his needs.

What We Are Seeking:
We’re looking for someone who’s mindful, cleans up after themselves, pays rent on time, and is drama-free. This space is open for professionals, students, artists, or anyone passing through town or searching for a more permanent living situation. Hoping to find a conscious communal person who works or goes to school out of the home, I dont want my work to effect someone who works from their bedroom.

Unfortunately we cannot have any additional pets at this time.

Availability & Pricing:
- Available through the end of December for sure. I have had three roommates who ask for 3 months but stay much longer.. this current one has been here nine months. Open to 1-2 month trial!
$1400 + utilities (estimated up to $165 contingent on summer months with a/c usage) utilities include internet, gas, power, and water.
- Let’s chat!

Requirements:
Signed Agreement and 600 deposit which is returned upon departure inspection.
Valid ID required.
Please reach out if you’d like to see some
