Hello,

My wife and I live in a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom house about 3.5 miles from the ArtCenter and are renting out one of the bedrooms (available immediately). Our most recent tenant was an intern at JPL who has moved on to his next endeavor in New... York City, and we’ve loved having folks from Caltech, PCC, and the ArtCenter! Included below are some additional details

Rental Room Details:

-Private bedroom with closet and hangers with a full mattress/bed frame. The bedroom also comes equipped with a desk, office chair, TV, fan, bedding/pillows, and a nightstand if desired.

-Private bathroom with shower/tub, towels, bath mat, and shower curtain.

-Utilities covered include water, electricity, gas, internet, and trash pick-up

-Non-smoking household

-The house is on a lot with two other houses but there are no shared walls (and the neighbors are friendly!)


Amenities:

-Dishwasher

-Garbage disposal

-Central A/C and heat

-In-unit washer and dryer

-Additional storage space in spare bedroom/garage/hall closets

-2 refrigerators/freezers (one in the kitchen, one in the garage)

-Patio area with propane barbeque and outdoor furniture

-Several furnished common areas

-Parking spot in garage


The house is a 10-minute drive to the ArtCenter Campus, and if you don’t have a car, you can easily get to either location using Pasadena Metro Micro, which is what our most recent tenant did ( [web address removed]). My wife and I are in our mid-30s and have a very sweet 11-year-old labrador mix named Honey (pictured in one of the photos). My wife is a professor in the Writing Program at USC and I have been working in Consumer Products at Warner Bros. We enjoy playing tennis, going to movies, and occasionally having people over for dinner parties or to play board games.


Rent would be $1300/month, including utilities, though we may have some flexibility for negotiation.
